Is Washington Ready to Stop Backing Musharraf?

Wajid Shamsul Hasan of London, a columnist for the Great Falls, Virginia-based South Asia Tribune, contends in an informative, August 8, 2005 article that there are "signs that Washington is ready to stop backing" Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, perhaps the Bush Administration's staunchest ally in its war on Al-Qaida and the Taliban.
